Sat 26 Apr West End: Global Soul Music Vol 7 - Sufic Indo-Jazz Journeys

Hi folks,

Shen's News: I was lucky enough to attend the wedding of Yeshe and Lynne in Byron on the weekend, with many world music personalities in attendance. The ceremony was really lovely. I was really impressed by the musicianship of mbira player Chris Berry, who's leading the Njinji Drum-Dance-Mbira Retreat
this weekend.

It's the end of the month which means it's Global Soul Music time! Volume 7 is "Sufic Indo-Jazz Journeys" bringing together Sudanese bard Asim Gorashi, jazz piano-guitar father-and-son Robert Welsh and Ravi, and myself on tabla. Core Yoga, corner of Thomas and Vulture St this Saturday night.

And don't forget Shen's Best of the Web if you're looking for something to pass time online.
