23/24 May Mt Gravatt: Night/Morning Ragas - Gauri Damle-Pathare (vocal), Shen (tabla), Joseph Nand (harmonium)

Hi folks,

Shen's News: The tour with Sangeet Mishra and Taro Terahara was a big success and a great experience, all fully blogged up with photos and stories of our trip which covered 4500km and 13 concerts in 18 days. All the separate episodes are listed in my blog section below, or you can see the whole story on one page at this link. You can also download a recording of one of the best concerts from EthnoSuperLounge.

This weekend I have two very special concerts with a young lady classical singer from Mumbai, Gauri Pathare, the first "Night Ragas" on Saturday night and then "Morning Ragas" on Sunday morning, both at Progress Hall, Mt Gravatt. I'm very honoured to be accompanying her and definitely recommend these concerts if you'd like to hear some beautiful Indian classical vocals.

Have you got your copy of Tibet2Timbuk2's new CD "Music is Life" yet? It's a great CD, so please check it out at the EthnoSuperLounge Shop. Proceeds go to support Tibetan Children's Village. If you've heard it and like it, please check out 20 easy ways to help Tibet2Timbuk2.
