Shen's News: The 2nd Annual Ashu Babu Memorial Tabla School Concert on July 4 was a big success, with lots of love all around. Please follow the link for pics and full story. Last Sunday I played at Cows at the Beach with Toby Wren at Ric's Bar in the Valley, a very enjoyable Indo-jazz collaboration and hopefully the first of many. I'll be playing there again with Robert and Ravi Welsh and Cieavash Arean on Sun July 26.
