Shen's News: Writing to you this week from Kamakura, having just completed the Nagoya/Kyoto leg of my Japan tour. It's been slow the last few weeks, but tomorrow I start an intense period of 15 concerts in 19 days, including a bunch around Tokyo with Tenzin Choegyal who's arriving here on Thursday. Very exciting!!!
I've got some good shows coming up when I get back to Australia, too. Both Tibet2Timbuk2 and Saikat Bhattacharya (with Shen) will be playing at the Qld Multicultural Festival on Oct 18. The following weekend I'll be accompanying brilliant Indian classical vocal/sitar duo Debapriya/Samanwaya at Bangalow (23rd), Gold Coast (24th) and Brisbane (25th). Look out for details in future newsletters.
Tibet2Timbuk2 news: We have entered a few songs in the 2009 National Musicoz Awards - please follow the link to vote for us! In other news, our CD "Music is Life" is now available for download in high quality format from the EthnoSuperLounge Shop. Proceeds go to support Tibetan Children's Village. If you've heard it and like it, please check out 20 easy ways to help Tibet2Timbuk2.
