Fri 28 Oct West End - PULSE feat. World CitiZen + Tribalicious

Posted on behalf of Elliott Orr...

Pulse
Featuring:

World CitiZen
Simultaneously easy listening and danceable, Byron based World CitiZen is an 8-piece led by singer/songwriter and global nomad Yeshe. The music is a mix of traditional and original tunes focussed around the mbira (Zimbabwean thumb piano) and Yeshe's soothingly husky voice. The band also includes Afrian percussion, drums, double bass, cello, violin, guitar and backing vocals.

Tribalicious
The fantastically vibrant African drum and dance troupe Tribalicious will be turning up the heat once again for Pulse. Shaking their tush Afro style and crankin' out totally wicked beats - this is pure excitement!

Zormiwasa
African grooves by many hands - let the rhythm begin!!

Friday October 28th
Doors open at 7pm, music kicks off at 8pm.
At the Drum, South leagues club. Jane St. Davies Park, West End.

$1 from all tickets go to rebuilding the nasty government bulldozing of our dear mbira teacher Garikai Tirikoti in Zimbabwe.
