Pulse - Sing Drum Dance Concert Spectacular – Brisbane Sat 8th April
Usually on the last Saturday of the month, the March Pulse has been rescheduled to the 8th April. This was due to the Neighbourhood Groove Collective support for Fat Freddy’s Drop at the Zoo on the last Saturday in March.
100 singers! 25 drummers! 10 dancers! All on one stage!! Brian Martin, his world music singers, plus Elliott and Josie and their students will be joined by Tribalicious and the Goddess Yani. This will be a spectacular concert of monumental proportions, overflowing with passion and beauty!
Plus African Dance Party with Lansana Camara. Immediately following the concert push your chair aside and put on your dancing shoes! All the way from Guinea, West Africa, Pulse presents Lansana Camara. Be spellbound by the sweet melodies of the kora (21 string harp) and balafon, and be transformed to tribal Africa by the raw, driving rhythms of his homeland. Lansana will be joined by Tribalicious to spank the night away!!
