For the first time in Australia – Dalai Lama’s monks from the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery

For their first Australian visit the Tashi Lhunpo Monks will be offering a week of Divinations, morning and afternoon meditations, creation of a sand mandala for world peace, a talk on Reincarnation and The Big Happiness Concert to complete the occasion.

All talks, divinations and meditations will be translated by acclaimed Tibetan performer Tenzin Choegyal.

"THE TIBETAN ART OF DIVINATION":

Hear about your past, present and future. Tibetan Mos are personal readings for the clearing of obstacles in your path.

Personal psychic readings by Ngakchen Rinpoche Tenzin Tsultrim, one of the most respected re-incarnated Lamas and Senior Monk of the Tashi Lhumpo Monastery. Ngakchen is a master of Sutra and Tantra.

According to Buddhist systems, when a divination is performed the practitioner enters into a visualization practice and invokes the energies/blessings of the deity associated with that form of divination. The practitioner communicates with the wisdom aspect of the deity's mind, which is none other than our own deep mind. This communication can occur through a variety of mediums.

30 minute personal readings are available. Max 10 per day.

Starting time 9.30am. There is a minimum offering of $55 for this service.

Bookings through your city's contact

"TRANSFORMING YOUR MIND THROUGH MEDITATION"

"SAND MANDALA"

The monks will be working all week on their sand mandala during the day. The time set aside for viewing is 10am-5pm. Sand Mandala – Sacred Art will be created grain by grain to generate energies for global healing. A hands-on experience in which participants hear the Monks speak about the philosophy and history of the Tibetan Sand Mandala and then practice creating their own piece of sacred art. All welcome, attendance by donation.

"REINCARNATION and HAPPINESS"

Public Talk by Ngakchen Rinpoche Tenzin Tsultrim, one of the most respected
re-incarnated Lamas of the Tashi Lhumpo Monastery, a master of Sutra and Tantra.

"The Big Happiness Concert"
"Sacred Music and Sacred Dance for World Healing".

The famed multiphonic singers of Tibet's Tashi Lhunpo Monastery will perform. With this unique style of singing, the monks simultaneously intone three notes. They also play traditional instruments such as 10-foot-long dung-chen horns, drums, bells, cymbals and gyaling trumpets.

They will be accompanied by Tibetan musician and singer Tenzin Choegyal who will also perform.

Dream Seeding Fusion CONCERT: Only in Brisbane powerhouse and Katoomba Civic Centre.
The Ven. Monks and Tenzin will be joined by several prominent Australian musicians to create a totally unique musical and cultural tapestry. If you think thousand year old Buddhist chants and jazz riffs sound like an interesting combination, then this concert is not to be missed!
